For those that are running on their own server or can get information on server load, your feedback would be appreciated. Because 4.4b3 has language files that are loaded at compile time, on heavy used sites this could cause more server load, average language file is about 40K. So every time a script is hit it has to complile a 40K file into the script.
If this becomes a problem then we might use a static English language in the administration section and then have the language file only in use for the front end. This would cut down on the size of the language file drastically as the majority of the text is in the administration section. The language file could probably be reduced down to about 15K or so.
Another beneifit of only having language files for the front end is it would reduce the number of lines needing translation from about 600 down to about 300, which would help to have more langauges quickly available.
So your feedback will be appreciated. If the majority of users feel a static English language in the admin section would be ok, then I will work on getting this done. Anything that helps the speed of the program is a good thing:).
