I'm not sure what side of the fence of this I'm on yet.
If you ignore... do you just not see the posts?
Or as was suggested, if ignored, the body of the message says "POST IGNORED"?
The latter seems easiest and wouldn't break threaded mode. But you'd still see replies. I don't know if I'd like it blocking replies... as people don't always reply to the right person.
Of course, users could quote a message (with the new quote feature) in a reply. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

An alternative.. which would be cool, and is a feature that I think Open Topic here offers is a "Private Moderation" feature.
Where the admin (or mod) can place them in private moderation.... and someone can post away. But only they (and admins or mods) see the posts. Thus the troll just thinks that everyone is ignoring them and moves on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
That might be easier.
I've been thinking of hacking that... but I'm not sure if it's above my abilities. For now it probably is. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />
Either way, it's good to see lots of feedback on the various ways this stuff could be used.
