UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums General Suggestions and Feedback Users cannot "hide" their email addresses?

Users should have the option of hiding their email addresses if they dont want them displayed.

There are 2 email fields...one for administrative purposes which is only seen by the admin.... and another (displayed on posts). This is the only email visible to users.

They just simply don't put anything in this field. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Thanks, Josh. I will put some text in to make that more clear. I assume that U_Fakeemail is the variable you are referring to (might be better as PublicEmail, lol).

I've always had to edit my language files....

The text (displayed with posts) is misleading... makes it sound like it appears with each post. It really should say (displayed in profile). You could also add the word "optional" to it.

Yes, that is the $fakeemail variable.
