We haven't upgraded to the lastest version, but it appears as though you now have the option of easily changing the Time Setting for the Who's Online screen.

So I just have a general question. What appears to be the norm for the time settings? What do you have yours set for? 10 minutes? An hour? 12 hours? 24 hours?

I've seen a lot of other message boards (other than infopop) that always appear to have tons of users online. Sometimes 250+. And I guess I just wonder if they are using a 24 hour setting.

10 minutes is the normal and prior to 6.4 that was the default that could not easily be changed.
Now that with 6.4 you can adjust the time limit. I see most boards running 30 or 60 minutes.

We upgraded to 6.4.2 and increased the time of our "Who's Online" to 30 minutes. Now I'm finding that with anonymous users, the same person will show up multiple times in the list.

Here's an example:

64.68.92.193 04/27/04 07:14 AM Viewing a user's profile
64.68.92.207 04/27/04 07:14 AM Viewing a user's profile
64.68.92.168 04/27/04 07:13 AM Viewing a user's profile

This causes our total number of people online to be increased. So it doesn't show an accurate number. Anyone else run into this issue?
