Couple things I've thought about recently, that would be cool to implement in threads...
1) I'd love to see more statistics tracked and stored. For instance, how bout' storing somehow every month the statistics for how many people logged in of march 04', etc. How many posts made in March 04, April '04, etc. It would be nice to just have this stuff captured and stored.
2) A survey type option for admins would be nice. Probably could even use the poll system as a basis. But, essentially, as a tool for the admins to collect data on users' experiences - much like the poll system. Have options for anonymity or tracked - like a user can only take it once, but their info isn't stored with the survey results...
If being used, it could pop up right after a person logs in, and they have the option to take it right away, take it later, or ignore it completely.
3) New icons - smilies, etc. The current one are old skool and cute, but just aren't cool. This isn't that big of a deal I guess, 'cause I can do it, but I haven't found a set I like yet. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
