Thank you! You have successfully installed your UBB!

You still need to configure/customize your message board, which you can do in your Control Panel. None of your email-oriented features will function until you configure your Email Settings there.

To continue customizing your UBB, click here!

it does not take me to where you can setup to administrator and config ubb more

Whats wrong ????
Please help me!

Please post a url to your control panel (cp.cgi). Also, please consider installing the latest UBB version which is 6.04b to help eliminate the possibility of any bug in that version which might be causing the problem.

You must be doing some work on the site right now, I checked your link above and get a page not found. I'll check back later.

I had that happen when I installed v6.x as well. It would happen over and over. Then oddly, it just "worked" finally.

It was very strange.

Everytime I "set it up properly", it would take me back to the config page. Then for no apparent reason, one of the times I cliked on "click here" it actually took me to the admin account creation.

Polaris X, its best not to piggy-back on others threads. It can be very difficult to keep track of the troubleshooting when there is more than one board involved in a thread.

Please make a new post with your board version # and the url to the control panel. In addition, please post a url to your web host's page so we can check for a cgi faq. You may also want to refer to any emails your host sent or contact them directly for information on how to define your absolute paths. It is very possible the environment variables UBB is coming up with are not in fact correct. The environment command does not always return the correct information due to how some web hosts have set their servers up.
