Does the $100 license upgrade from UBB.classic to UBB.threads include access to the UBB.threads software?

We're having real problems with hosting a board on a site that uses load balancing, and we've read that UBB.threads works on a load balanced server.

The $100 fee converts your current UBB.classic license into a UBB.threads license with 1 year member's area access.

Will UBB.threads work in the environment I'm using though?

I've already purchased $99 worth of support for a product that doesn't work on my server. I don't want to pay another $100 only to find out that this won't work either.
