Installed this UBB a little over a month ago:
QwikSilver Outdoors, and it grew a little too quick. For the last week response time has been slow with lots of lost replies. Two days ago I turned accelerator on. The server crashed three time yesterday, so I turned it back off.
Here's the scoop:
Server: Win2K Bld 2195 SP2 - Shared Server
Perl: Build 613
PHP: Accelerator said it was OK but complained about SAFE mode
UBB: 6.21 255 Members/ ~5000 Page views per day
From what I've read, people are running a lot bigger UBB's than this? Have I outgrown a shared server already. Should I really be on UBBThreads? Have I just really screwed up the configuration?
Any insight you all can provide will be greatly appreciated.
