One of my users claims to connect from some primitive network where the pages from my UBB won't refresh because they go through a proxy.

His network admin told him that I should have some kind of 'no cache' html command in the header of my forum files. He said there's no other way to bypass the proxy which updates only every so often.

Can I include this command in the templates to solve such a problem?

UBB6 has a no-cache command in the head section as part of the default setup. Look at the source of your pages and you will see it.
