I have a couple users that have written in that are members and can not log in. They get a "Sorry, the password you entered is not correct." message and I've confirmed. I see that they are in the Members directory in all the files (000XXXX.cgi, memberslist.cgi & emaillist.cgi). I cn only assume there are more users that have this problem. I ran rebuildmems6.cgi as well but as I said in another post, that wouldn't let me complete since it said I wasn't the Administrator....
Is there any way to rebuild the member list? I think mine is screwed up and I still can't log into my control panel.

I believe that's the Member Stat File Rebuild under the Maintenance drop down....
(I changed the first entry to blahblah from the admin's username for security reasons).
Other members have something like:
20000826|2|000652|000006
Could those carets ("^") be causing a problem? My instinct tells me the admin name is there since I edited the member profile from the CP...BTW, what are those fields for?
CC, anything on this? I did find another "pattern" in that there's always a different case-variation in the username. For example, the problem users:
"Ben" and "ben" both exist. So do "Stein" and "stein". Not sure though about "C" as I can't find him in the CP since the CP looks for all members that start with the letter c.
I did another stats rebuild but these users still can't log in...and they keep writing in to ask what the problem is and how can they post...so any help would be greatly appreciated...

Charles has said that those profiles look OK so now I'm getting contradictory statements. For that matter, from what you suggest, how do I fix them? I did the update member from the CP (after pulling the user up) and no change...
Any update? What should I tell the users (that complained) to do? I rebuild members and stat files again this AM and tried to log them in but to no avail...
After far, far too long, I have finally found the problem.
Your registration integration is broken. It's allowing duplicate usernames.
UBB will find the first instance of a username and use it, as it knows, for a fact, that there can not be duplicates.
You will need to delete all the dupe users, then patch the system to no longer accept usernames if there's already an existing name in a different case.
