UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.classic UBB.classic 6 Support Problems with mass e-mail and UBB a friend!

Hi,

I have version 6.5 on Linux and the e-mail features seem to work but the e-mail never gets the destination.

I checked for problems with the hosting provider but the say the sendmail fucntion is working properly and the problem is probably with the forum.

Would you please give me any light on this?

Cheers.

Are you using sendmail or SMTP?

Does *ANY* mail from the board get to the destination? I.e. new registrations, lost password requests, etc?

Hi,

I am using sendmail. I am affraid that none of the e-mails get to the destination.

Thanks for the reply.

Juan

Try switching to SMTP, if possible. SMTP will be able to provide an error message if something goes wrong. If your host lacks an SMTP server, please use the link in my signature to open a support ticket. We'll need to turn on some diagnostic code to make sure that sendmail accepts the mail without complaint.

Hi Charles.

I can not get the forum anymore.

This is the error I get:

Undefined subroutine &main::StandardHTML called at /home/html/cgi-bin/ubb_lib.cgi line 2161.

Would you please help me on this?

Juan

Hi Charles.

The forum is working back.

I do not know what it did happen.

The e-mail functions do not work yet though.

Hi Juan-

You may want to fill out a support ticket here so that we can help you more in-depth through a ticket.

Thanks!
