I just upgraded to 6.1, and when I try to post I get these messages about 50% of the time...

"Could not find any forum_thread_data files! Please tell the board administrator to Rebuild Forum Stat Files for forum: 10"


What might be wrong??

Did you perform the upgrade properly, including rebuilding the forum stat files for all forums?

Is that particular forum empty?

Yes, the forums were mostly empty, as I hadn't opened the board to the public yet. I was posting messages (the first ones) in there tonight and that's when I got the error message.

As far as I know I did the upgrade correctly, except I rebuilt the forum stat files before I rebuilt the member files... <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> That's the only thing I did that is out of whack. Is that it? Do I have to install the whole thing again?

Okay, please open a support ticket, I'd really like to take a look at your board setup. Thank you!

I have been posting in it and I opened it up to the public and there are 25 registered people talking in it now, and no one has reported that error message, so I think I fixed it...

But I will open the ticket if the message comes back.

D'OH! I was looking forward to seeing one of these errors in the wild, I'd never managed to catch one before.

At least it's not occuring any longer!
