Users started getting this error:
Rebuilding forum stats didn't help.
Rebuilding search index didn't help.
Ended up deleting the referenced file, and everything started working again.

What caused this type of problem? Seemed like the file was corrupt.

Judging from the line number, I'd say it's a bug - the file grew far too large.

For right now, delete all of the recentmeta files in that directory, then rebuild forum stats, then any content islands that you have.

You'll want to upgrade to 6.7 to correct the bug for good.

I think my forum is getting too big for UBB.classic.

Well... 21,000 members, 350 active topics today, and your largest forum has 21,000 topics.

If you're seeing performance issues, you should look at reducing the number of topics in any one active forum to no more than 3-5000... and try pruning away about half of your members - I'd wager that many of them are inactive.

If performance is OK, though, you can probably wait on doing any of this.

And in any case, moving up to 6.7 is advised.
