Hi,

I have a user who gets this error message when she goes into her profile...

An error has occurred:

(RequireVars) CGIPath/Members/pm_users/00000257.cgi: CGIPath/Members/pm_users/00000257.cgi did not return a true value at CGIPath/ubb_lib.cgi line 939.

Please inform the board administration of this error so that they may fix the problem. Thank you!


This doesn't appear to happen to everyone. She has been the only one to report it, and I know others aren't having the problem.

I am running 6.7.0.

I noticed when doing a search on this problem that on older versions of the board software the solution was to delete that file? Is that still the case? What causes this?

If I remember correctly, it sounds like you may have some corruption in that file. Have you checked the file? What does it look like? Is it 0 bytes in size?

Yup it is zero. I see from previous posts about this the solution was to delete the file?

Yep, that's correct. Unfortunately, unless you want to fish the file out of a pre-corruption backup, deleting it's the best way to go.

After I deleted the file, the user reported that is works ok now.

Is there anything else I should do?
