Hey folks,

I have trouble with my forum how fast it increases the Megabytes on the server.
I do frequently prune but it seems to grow so fast. 100 MB in a few weeks. Therefore I have checked the server via my FTP and keep finding a Thumbs.db file in many ubb folders.

Should the Thumbs.db files be there??? Or is someone hacking into my site?

Thumbs.db is a file generated by Windows in directories containing images. You can safely delete those, as those are not used by the UBB.

if you disable Thumbnail view, the file should not show up again

Thanks but where do I disable the thumb nail view???

while viewing the folder, right-click on a blank spot, choose "View", then choose something other than thumbnails
