I've been getting ready to move from 6.5.2 to 6.5.5 and have everything ready to go except that it isn't keeping track of the number of read replies at all. To be clear:

Normally I'd see:

Subject Poster Views Replies Last Post

Post About Something Poster 2040 28(4) XXX

But instead I see:

Subject Poster Views Replies Last Post

Post About Something Poster 2040 28 XXX

Any idea what is setup wrong. I'd like to make the switchover totally transparent.

Did your config file get changed at all? Make sure that you have the options checked to show the total # of unread posts under Display Options -> General.

Thanks. That was it. I thought I'd cross checked the two config files but apparently that's one I missed.
