People are allowed multiple accounts under the same e-mail address for my site. If someone forgets the password for one of their accounts and asks for their password it appears to send the information for the first account using that e-mail address, not the actual account they need the passrword for.

If they have multiple accounts with the same email address, they need to actually request a password by using the Login Name. Otherwise there is no way to tell what account they need the password for.

Example:

account1: [email protected]
account2: [email protected]

If I request a password for [email protected] there is no way to know if I am requesting a password for account1 or account2. So I need to use the login name instead.

I think my users were filling in both blanks. Is it possible to change the order so that it will look to see if they filled in the login name before the e-mail?

Yes, I reworked this so if they fill in both, it will always lookup by Username first.
