We have the PM Icon by My Stuff for the users. Why not have some sort of Alert Notification next to the CP Link for Mods/Admins to alert them of something in the modq or regq that needs their attention.

It would be differant, imo the modq does need some sort of notification other than the email that gets sent out... The regq too if admin's have it on (though it could get annoying when using the email validation)

I think it would be beneficial for admins and mods. Sometimes I see the forums before my email, so I might miss the modq/regq initially.
Even if they just put a ! in a triangle next to it showing that there are items in the CP that require attention. This could even be expanded if another suggestion of mine (Report Posts delivered to a queue in the CP) becomes reality.
