UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums General Suggestions and Feedback "Admin email" setting should be on the preferences page

I'm wondering why the "From time to time we send out emails regarding this community. Do you wish to receive these emails? No Yes" has been moved into the users profile. This is a setting that definitely should be in the preferences setting in my opinion.

My guess is that it is associated with the email address. Therefore it is saying 'do you want emails? if you do is the email address above the best one to receive them on?', in the same way as 'do you want your Birthday displayed?' is in there.

However there is no reason why the question can't be duplicated in the preferences area.
