I would like to see the ability to limit viewing of a post to the user who posted.

I would like to see a permission system where you could:

- Allow a thread to be started by a user
- Thread can be replied to by Admins/Mods or the user who started it
- Thread can not be viewed by other users (better would be option original poster could select to allow other users to view/reply)

Yes! This would allow me to use UBBT7 as a threaded tech support system.

Threads started by users only being visible to themselves and mods /admins would be great. So would a thread where anyone can reply but people can only see their own posts and specially marked posts by mods/admins (e.g. for competitions).

You should think of having a specialized usergroup aswell, then you don't have to assign your "techs" as a moderator of every forum, and it'd allow you to allow differant types of "techs" to differant forums...

This is a cool sugguestion though, with a simple tick in your forum settings you could make your forum replicate a $3k support system...
