I have two users (only two) who say that the new post indicators are not working for them. Neither the Main Forum List screen or the individual post index screen show yellow icons for new posts.

Is this a "cookie security" issue on their machine, or something else?

Have them clear their cookies, that usually fixes it for them.

I have one user that is constantly messaging me about this same issue. He has to expire his cookies each time he logs in to be able to see the "New Post indicators". Is there a permanent fix for this, as he quite annoyed he has to do this each time he visits?

BTW- He's running Windows Vista and IE7, I'm assuming this is something on his end, I just need to know what to tell him! wink

Windows Vista and IE7

He needs to go into IE7 - TOOLS/Internet Options/Settings

Under:
Check for newer versions of stored pages:
Set it to: Every time I visit the webpage

FireFox should run just fine on Vista as well and for most Web sites is more compliant to the Standards than IE7 currently is.
