I'd love for TNG integration to be worked into a 7.1 version "The Next Generation of Genealogy SitebuildingĀ© ("TNG") is a powerful way to manage and display your genealogy data on the Internet, all without generating a single page of HTML. Instead, your information is stored in MySQL database tables and dynamically displayed in attractive fashion with PHP (a scripting language). http://lythgoes.net/genealogy/software.php " There are some cms integrations, but they are overkill and suspect from a security standpoint - I'd rather have a clean forum integration and forget the tons and tons of extra junk included in a CMS.

Can't say I have ever heard of it - but it looks interesting. I know I am back to the 1700's with my tree

I've been working on a family site - the software does a good job and is relatively inexpensive, but the current cms's it works with are overkill/not something I want to use If I can find where it bridges with just one forum I should be able to duplicate it for threads.

software like this can be a great asset to a site, by offering facilities for members over and above the standard forums.
perhaps we need similar software to this to offer members.
