I remember in UBBT.6 that I could define a variable in scripts that I didn't want either sidebars to appear in... or for that matter, force sidebars to show regardless of user preference.
Does this handy variable still exist?

IIRC v6 didn't ship with anything that utilized sidebars, whereas v7 has a portal that brings us the sidebars in this version; I don't believe any such variable exists to turn them off in any specific page in its current state.

oh yeah, that was the portal mod, my bad. Nope I just checked and it looks like it doesn't exist.

If you know smarty templating you could dive in and configure the sidebars to not display on a specific forum by an if/else statement; but I don't know much about smarty templating to be of any real help.
