How do I access the appropriate place to change the message sent to people when they have a private message?

So I do not have to keep asking these questions, is there a guide somewhere that tells you which language templates are associated with which tasks? Thanks.

That would be the sendmessage.php language file.

Basically, if a language string is used in many places, it will be in the generic.php language file. Things like the navigation menu items, are in here, since they are on all pages.

Otherwise, if you see a string that you need to change on a certain page, just look in your address bar. You'll see a ubb=somescript. So, you'd look for the somescript.php language file.

Thanks, that is helpful. The whole reason I need to do this is that for some reason when I access the forum is by using this link:

http://lymecommunity.com/forums/ubbthreads.php

I get a script error on the page. However when I access it using this link:

http://lymecommunity.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/cfrm

Everything is OK.

So I am/and have changed all links to the forum home to that second link.

Are there any other automatic response messages that direct people to the forum homepage? If so, how can I change these two have the functional link as mentioned above? Is there a place in the languages?
