Since yesterday for some reason my attachments stoped uploading using FILE MANAGER in reply box. It goes through the procedure, lookin like it is uploading, but when I check through FTP it is not there. As a result, only the file name is visible, but not the picture. Any ideas why?

make sure the path is set correctly as to where you are uploading the files to. You can locate it at:
Your Boards » Control Panel » Feature Settings - Attachments
Make sure you set how large a file can be and also make sure the permissions are set on that directory so you can write files to it. These are the basics..
Also there is upload functionality in your php.ini file on the server. You may want to check that for any size restraints set at the php level.
This is surface stuff I can think of.

- not out of quota, plenty of space left (around 4 GB) - path is correct (worked fine until yesterday for many months) - not made any changes - I can upload pictures through FTP and they display correctly - Through control panel I allowed uploads up to 7 MB per file

For note, it doesn't matter what your allowed uploads is set to, your php.ini must also allow uploads that large, most stock settings only allow 2/4mb.
As for the issue at hand, make sure the uploads directory is chmodded 777

Well, if the file is UNDER the max upload size limit it woudln't be that; but see mys econd post about phpinfo
If you have root on the machine, you can edit your php.ini, its in /etc/php.ini; just be careful as you can nerf your php install if you screw something up.
