How do I change the the SHOUT BOX title and the name on the SHOUT button?

Thank you but it didn't work  Did I do something wrong? I changed the word "shout" to "buzz" and it change on the board.

I did got to have a look for you but got... Your IP is Banned. If you are getting this message it is probably because you are trying to access the Message Board through AOL. Because AOL allows multiple users to have the same IP address some people use this 'hole' in the system to 'Flame' or attack this board knowing they can't be singled out. Therefore, to protect the Message Board and the children from unacceptable posts and flaming, access from AOL into BOTN has been suspended at this time. Please use nternet Explorer or other Internet Browser to gain access to the Message Board until the situation is under control. If you need to contact the admin email I am not on AOL btw.

You might want to check to see if the language files can be updated by the script - it may not have permission.
I always manually update language files and upload the changed files.
languages\english\island_shoutbox.php is the file...
$ubbt_lang['SHOUT_BOX'] = "Shout Box";
$ubbt_lang['SHOUT_IT'] = "Shout";
are the two lines you need to change.

The surrounding box is cached as well, so you probably need to clear your cache to see the change.

OK, try this.
I did what you suggested and the title changed but the contents that was in the shout box disappeared. I tried to post a shout but all I got was a message that said sending and it hung.
Ok, I thought no problem. I'll just put back the original php file. So I deleted the island_shoutbox.php and like magic the shout box came back with my new title and the content and no island_shoutbox.php file in the directory.
I have been able to add and delete shouts..thought you'd like to know

Are you looking at cache? yeah I must have been...anyway got it fixed...It had to be me screwing up something because I uploaded a fresh copy of the php file made the changes and all is right with the world. Thank you everyone
