Ok, I have yet another Avatar question. I did an initial import from 6.5.1 to 7.0, then upgraded to 7.0.2. When I did the import initially, I had not set a path/URL to the user Avatars. So, while Avatars are indeed showing in my posts, the images themselves point to the OLD Avatar directory under ubbthreads 6.5.1 directory.

QUESTION IS: If I re-import later under 7.0.2, but be sure to have the user Avatar directories setup ahead of time, will my users' avatars now point to the NEW avatar directory? Or will I have to change the path values in the User_Profile table?

I'm experiencing the same thing. Users with an Avatar from the old UBBTHREADS folder of my 6.5.1 no longer work, they were not imported of modified to the new path.

New Avatar from new install or external link continue to work okay.

Ok, its been 5 days and no answers, so let me ask it this way.
When I re-do my installation of 7.0.2 and re-import my threads 6.5.X, should Avatars move over as well (assuming I copy them to the "new" Avatar directory?) Is there anything special I need to do to make members's currect Avatars work in the new directory?

Currently Avatars are stored as a full URL since they can be local default ones, uploaded or linked to another server. Initially I was going to automatically change the URL to the new one, but some sites have avatars in locations that won't actually get moved during the import. The only real way to fix this would be to move the avatars after the import and then do a MySQL regex to replace the old avatar directory with the new one.

I'd need to lookup the actual command, just woke up and brain isn't quite working yet wink

Ok, I can do that as long as you can tell me the correct query to do, thanks,
