I would like for all birthdates to be available from the calendar. Currently, if I post an event on the calendar it creates a link on that day. If I click on the link, it shows the event that I posted, as well as any users with birthdays on that day.
I would like to have birthdays available on the calendar, even if there is not an event posted on that day. Can I do this?

The calendar on this forum is doing what I want my forum to do.
Most of the days have hyperlinks. If I click on that day, the only thing that comes up is a list of users with birthdays on that date.
In my forum, the only days that have hyperlinks are those with an event attached. If I post an event, then the birthdays are displayed. For all other days, even those in which there are users with birthdays, there is no link.
How can I get my forum (using UBB.threads 7) to do the same thing?

Display Options -> General -> General Options -> Show Birthdays in Calendar.

Ok, now that you've told me where to find it, I really feel stupid. I swear that I looked over those options several times, but somehow kept overlooking it.
Thanks for the help!

Display Options -> General -> General Options -> Show Birthdays in Calendar.
When the box is checked all days with birthdays on the calendar are hyperlinked.
When the box is not checked there are no hyperlinks but birthdays still show up on the calendar if you click the hyperlink for that day.
I don't want birthdays listed at all, anywhere. How do I change this?
[Sorry if this has been answered but I could not find it after reading dozens of threads.]

Try clearing the cache after updating the setting.

After updating what setting?
If the box for Display Options -> General -> General Options -> Show Birthdays in Calendar is left unchecked the birthdays still show in the public calendar (even after clearing cache) (for even unregistered users). All that changes is that there are no hyperlinks in the calendar for those birthdays (on days when there are no other events).
Thanks!

After updating the setting "Show birthdays in calendar", most data on the forum is cached, try clearing the cache after deticking the "Show birthdays in calendar" then check to see if the birthdays still show in the calendar.

That is the procedure I followed:
-Detick the "Show birthdays on calendar" -Click save ("Update General Display Options") -Clear cache -View calendar - birthdays still show.

It's a semi-bug IMO. I've confirmed the same behavior as Jake. With unchecked "show birthdays on calendar", they still show up when viewing any event. They don't create hyperlinks themselves, but they still show up when an event exists.

Here's an example on my site. 12/31/06. Birthday's in Calendar turned off. Event entered for 12/31/06. When you click on that event to go to 12/31/06, this is what shows up: http://www.montecarloss.com/communi...ay&day=31&month=12&year=2006
