In some of our forums we have the option under Post Options to "mark as edited" and in other forums that option is not available.
Where in the Control Panel do we change this setting? We want the option in all forums.

Currently, if you're editing your own post, you'll have that option. If you're editing someone else's post as an admin or moderator, you won't. We are adding that option in for 7.1 however.

There is a hack for older boards that allows you to remove the "edited by" Do a search over at UBBDev

I just did this myself, we run contests in the forums and can't allow editing after the fact.
editpost.tpl - commented out 'markeditselect' add in <input type="hidden" value="1" name="markedit">

FYI, you'll also need to comment out a second field when 7.1 is out; for the edited text reason... or you could leave it on, either or
