What is the status on fixing the current search feature?
Currently on 7.02 you can not search for anything less than 5 characters in length.

I've been able to search for 4 characters. 3 or less seems to be the problem. Did you try changing the setting for the minimum search string length in control panel to 4? (Feature Settings / Search) Setting it to 3 or less makes no difference, the minimum searchable will be 4. MySQL apparently prevents 3 or less. :frustration: I already reported this in the bug forum.
Stress the system until it breaks. Hey.. it works for Spacecraft.. why not here? UBB since 1999: MonteCarloSS.com

I replied to this in your other thread; in the future please only post in one forum as numerous threads to cover the same issue are pointless as not all posts will be read by people who're looking for a similar resolve.
As for the "issue", there isn't one... If your mysql configuration is set to use more characters than the minimum standard, then just adjust the small word limit in the control panel (as stated in the other thread)
