Sendmail is not working and notification are not going out via email (new users, PM users, watched posted etc). What file contains the path to sendmail? Has any one has this email notification problem.

Yeah, this really should probably be in the Control Panel.
Here's what I found, hopefully that's all you need to change:

var $Sendmail = "/usr/sbin/sendmail";

thanks jgeoff. I found it. It was wrong. I replaced it but it is still not working. The php test in the Control panel said the send mail path is /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i now I used just /usr/sbin/sendmail. Should I add the -t -i ?

Mine works w/o adding -t -i just fine, and I'm not even sure you can add that to the path. Seems that's not the problem if your path, and the path in the file, are both /usr/sbin/sendmail

Question: Did it work previously, with whatever version you are using now, or a previous version?

I'll try to think of other possibilities, unless someone else can help.

Specifying the path to the application is commmon as most servers don't have their sbin in their "path".

As for specifying -t, I'd add it IF the normal code shows it, as it scans the to: cc: and bcc: lines for addresses to send users (as bcc is how you mail numerous users without them all seeing eachothers email addresses).

As for -i i'm not sure what it's for, but again if it's in the ubb already i'd say to leave it...
