News items on portal page length

How do we limit the amount of text seen on portal page from each news item? In the past the news addon had a set character limit.

Can we limit it to a teaser of say 10 lines and then make the reader click to see the rest?

JC, I don't believe we currently have an apparatus to have a teaser in the news, I think it's an all or nothing thing; although it would be good to have a teaser as some news posts can get rather long...

I am a Web Development Contractor, I do not work for UBBCentral. I have provided free User to User Support since the beginning of these support forums.
