As Admin you should be able to go into the Control Panel and modify users. Input the user name to locate and it should then find all that are close, pick the one you want and edit their details as needed.

In UBBT 7 you can do it directly from the Control Panel but I don't recall if you can in 6.x Classic/Threads
I'm sure one of the regular Mods will pop in soon to give you a definitive answer.

In UBB7 you'll edit one of the template files.
Admin templates are in templates/default/admin Normal templates are in templates/default
As for the name of the templates, it's quite easy to figure out which one to edit. Also, all normal templates have the extension .tpl (wheras admin templates are tmpl).
Take a look at the URL on the page you wish to edit, after ubb= (or ubb/) there is a single word, for example here it is "showflat"; so the template for this page is "showflat.tpl" (since its a normal template, and the page name is showflat).
So the file would be templates/default/showflat.tpl
As for UBB.T6, I'm not entirely sure how the naming scheme went on things since I never really used it.

I believe in that version you'll actually need to edit the newuser.php script if you can't find the html in the newuser.tmpl template.

Thanks Rick - I noticed you wrote this script. Maybe you can tell me if there is a certain bit of script I could search for? There isn't a template just called 'newuser'.. Thanks JB

I found this in the newuser.php - Though I'm not sure why the 'I Agree' text wouldn't show up againest a white background....
<div align="center"> <input type="checkbox" class="formboxes" name="agree" value="yes" /> {$ubbt_lang['<font color="#000000" size="5" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">I_AGREE</font>']} </div>
Cheers JB
