It would be useful if people could either put their forum address into their profile or their signature. Due to the number of people signing up simply for a link, we have had to require members to have 10 posts before altering their profile. We apologise for any inconvenience.

You will increase your links and your search engine exposure as well, especially if in your signature.

But more importantly when you get a problem, it saves us having to ask for a link, so we can check out your issue.

Rick - you might want to demonstrate the forum intro and make such a suggestion in the 'bug' / 'how do I' forums.

Maybe UBBC should add this as a requirement when someone registers.

Not all of the people that post to UBBCentral are owners or have web sites. A lot are potential customers or site owners. Putting that in as a requirement was once....... a requirement...... and it didn't work out well for everybody. It was removed and has made life smoother for the most part, though admittedly it can at times make things harder for people trying to help out.

I would add alforadmin.com but alas it is gone. I'd add either of my sites, but they have no content.
