I would love to use PostgreSQL instead of MYSQL with UBB Threads. Is there such a version or is it coming?

Currently MySQL only - I guess other database options might come in the future.

As long as MySQL would continue - it's all I know, and I only know it because I learned so I could play with Threads. I really don't want to have to learn another DB, but as long as it was optional...

more support would be cool, since a lot of the mysql work is a php class I don't see why the conditions coudln't be adapted in the future.

It really wouldn't be hard, I'd bet, to convert the mysql connect stuff to pgres, but I *think* rick uses some mysql functions that would need converting. The connection stuff would be easy, going through all of the scripts to be sure that functions and queries would be compatible with pgres would be painful.
