I just upgraded from 7.0.2 to 7.1.

During the install, the instructions say to update the style sheets with several property groups: .newtotal, .popup_content and .post_buttons

I thought that since I had never changed the ubbthreads style, that I could simply ftp the new file into the /styles folder. I have done that, but on-line in the control panel, the new areas are blank, but I can see from browsing the file itself, that there are settings within each one.

I have tried the Clear Cache option in the Control Panel, but it did not help.

I can go ahead and browse the file and copy and paste the new stuff using the Control Panel Styles editor, but it seems like there ought to be an easier way.

Do you mean import a style sheet?
As that is an option.

All styles are stored in the database; thus copying the old stylesheet to the stylesheet directory won't work, because it's stored in the database.

Once it's been installed, there is no auto updating done as it could potentially screw up any customizations you did to it via an overwrite.

In short, you must do any stylesheet updates manually, IF you want them... I for one don't like the new UBBCode stylesheet changes, so I left them out and only applied the new entries.
