They may brighten a board, but most "guests" are robots, so thats a lot of wasted bandwidth to brighten up a forum wink... imo anyhow wink

No problem for us, since we don't host any avatars ourselve, it's all on the users webspaces.

We got lots of guests, only a small percentage are actual robots and we would like to see avatars turned back on for guests.
