Um, so who is member number one and why does he not show up in the user list?

Meber number 1 holds the table info.

Member number 1 is the DONOTDELETE user. That user holds generic info that would be used in case of anonymous posting for a deleted user. if you allow anonymous posting it's attributed to user 1. If you delete a user but not his/her posts the posts will be re attributed to user 1.
