I have my main portal index page disabled and I have a newest members island, with "always build" checked. The island does not update when new members register (even after 12 hours).
Newest Members does appear to work if I enable the portal page.
Is there a way to have the portal enabled, but still have UBB open to the forum page?

BTW, I believe "always build" is only for if you're including the island off-forum; so that shouldn't affect it either way...
As for the island not updating, that's odd since the build code for the islands are in the cache_builder file itself..

I'm also experiencing this. 7.1 Verify e-mail as the verification. I cleared my cache and it looked as it should. --------- Previoulsy i had admin to veryify + Verify e-mail and it worked as expected. I dont have always build enabled.

I myself don't use this island on my forums, I'm curious though if many others are noticing something similar, and are using email verification and don't have the news page enabled...
