UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support Cannot Delete a Post

For some reason, I cannot delete a post on my forum. It is the first post on this page entitled "Welcome to the Forum" by pennyjo:

When I attempt to delete it, it says "we cannot proceed. Use your back button to return to the previous page." In addition, when I did this, it changed the year of the post to 1969.

This is the first time I've ever run into this problem.

Please advise.

It looks like it deleted the posts but not the topic, which happened sometimes in 7.0.x. You can delete it by running the following SQL commands in the control panel. First:

select TOPIC_ID from ubbt_TOPICS where TOPIC_SUBJECT='Welcome to the Forum!' and FORUM_ID='8'

That will return the actual topic #, say 32 for example. Once you have that you can delete it with this, substituting 32 with the actual topic id:

delete from ubbt_TOPICS where TOPIC_ID='32'
