Often there are times when you don't want to outright ban somebody, but you want to put them on probation, or warn them in some way. There was a great mod out for this, but unfortunately not yet for 7.x. But it would be good to have this as core code. Here's the main points:

1. Have the ability to moderate posts at an individual level - not just per forum.

2. Have the same as above apply to PMs, on an individual level.

3. Have the ability to temporarily stop individuals from accessing their profiles.

Currently it's either ban them or not - we need a mid-level.

Apologies if this has already been suggested.

I like the idea of moderation on individual users on a posting basis.

However, I can't see how you'd be able to moderate pm's without outting user privacy...

Hmmm, well if not moderating PMs, then stopping somebody from using them - like with the underage thing.

Yes, banning users (directly) from sending PM's will be in 7.2 (according to the chat); the workaround for the time being is to just make the user underage

What about the individual posting moderation? Has that been discussed at all?

The only things I post about publicly are items that've been discussed publicly; and i can't say that I've heard of anything about that option other than the feature request.

Rick, is there any chance of "individual moderation" making it into a release soon?
