UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 7 Version 7 Support How do I create forums that only a subset of users have access to

In the past with UBB Classic you could create forums and only give access to those forums by giving them the correct permissions in the admin interface (user mgmt). I cannot for the life see what I can do this now. This is very useful to us to only give regulars users (not admins or moderators) access to some forums that are private.

Please help.

1. Create a new group
2. Create a forum,
you will see that your new group is listed in the permissions.
Make it read write to your group.

3. Find the members you want to be able to see that forum,
edit there profile and you will see that the new group you created is there now as an option. Tick the box and they can now see that forum, but normal members can not
