I upgraded to 7.1.1, and I am trying to figure out what to put in the post-buttons style area or somewhere else to turn off the links that are now sitting next to the buttons in each post. I need specifics. Maybe it is evident here somewhere on this board, but I have been looking for some time. Here is an example: http://www.tropictravelonline.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=89648#Post89648

It sounds like when you upgraded you didn't update the images. There are new images for all of the post buttons. The Edit/Reply/Quote, etc are now just text so it will work with different languages. So, make sure you upload the new images as well.

Also be sure to clear your browser's cache as it will cache the old images

Thanks for the help. I have the links now instead of both, but I'd rather have buttons like what you have here.

I'm pretty sure that all that's different here in regards to those buttons is a gradient image which is being loaded via the background-image property of the css class...

and if you simply import a style, that won't be enough. you'll also need to find the 'url(/ubbwhatever/...)' and make them right for your forum.
what would be nice if those url's were somehow handled nicely by the boards style import/export and allowed transparency..
just a thought

My themes should work perfectly out of the box; if entered properly when the theme is created you have no hoops to jump through to install it.

If you specify the full url to all images in your style when creating it, it will correct them for your site when you import the style.
