Even with the feature turned off, some users are managing to place avatars. How do I prevent this? We just imported from Classic 6.7 to 7.1.1 I've deleted all the avatars from the default file.

Are they avatars or just image links in their post?

They show up where avatars usually do, not in the post window. One had a link to the Flikr site. Can't figure it our but I wonder if I go into the avatar_inc script and make it admin_only 1 instead of 0 would this put a stop to it?

Shouldn't need to modify the script. You should be able to directly control it via the Control Panel.

That's the point I'm trying to make. Avatars are not allowed in the CP yet a few users are managing to place them. How do I stop this?

cp >> Profile Settings >> Allow Remote Avatars?

Is that un ticked first ?

Also, look on the left, the avatar, the ones being shown are being shown where a normal avatar is?

POST TITLE
AVATAR
REGISTRATION DATE

You get the idea, i'm wondering if another field is being used?
Say the location field.

I'll have to check that next time I see one. Although, when I went to the member's edit page in the CP, it showed a "Current Avatar" in the correct place.

Again, none of the boxes allowing avatars from any source are ticked. But I'm getting that way.
