Is there anyway I can get rid of the ubbthreads link in the footer section since its already available to me in the footer of the control panels? Or, is this required to stay per the license agreement?
I've very proud to be associated with ubbthreads for sure. However, I'm not sure if I want my members noisying around here instead of my own forum.
Maybe it's needed for the guests to come and ask questions or for sales. But for registered users, is this the typical? Please don't take offense.
Bye now,

It is a requirement of your licence to have the wording. I will be honest and say I am not 100% sure on the link - I am sure that Rick can confirm one way or another.
My main licence is a wwwthreads one, so is slightly different.
You will find that very few people ever click on links - so I doubt you will have an issue.

Here's the gist of this from the license agreement regarding this: the copyright and "Powered By" legends at the bottom of each page may not be removed. You may modify the positioning and colors, and/or remove the hyperlink to the Groupee website, as long as the legends remain readily perceptible to the human eye.

I believe that you used to be able to "debrand" for a fee of like $1k, not sure if that's still the case now
