Rick, when you release 7.2, do you include something that tells us which files have been modified?
So ... I guess the answer is no.

Basically the upgrade script will do this. You can just load the install directory and bring up the upgrade script in your browser, login and it will tell you all of the files that have been added, changed or removed. Or, there is also just a text file called UPGRADE_CHANGES.txt in the install directory. This is just one big file that contains all changes for all versions.

I'd guess several weeks or so. Depends upon our bug exterminating efforts.

Yep. He's in the random rotation. Something different should pop up with every page view. I keep forgetting to add his mugshot from last year.

5-22-2007: 7.2 Feature: Added new CSS classes to the Forum Summary properties. This will allow styles to be created where the rows will alternate color when listing topics in a forum. It also gives the ability to set properties for the rows that contain new topics/posts. ------- I guess this one hasn't been switched on yet ? Or i cant see it?

The new classes would need data manually entered unless Rick had it populate during the upgrade.

if you view the .css, the classes are there:
(alt|new)-newintopic (alt|new)-topicicon (alt|new)-topicsubject (alt|new)-topicreplies (alt|new)-topicviews (alt|new)-topictime they may not be integrated in the style editor yet, but then again it's just a guess.

Well, i know he has logic for it in postlist(.inc.php|tpl), because when you view source you see him alternating the classes.
Only thing i can't determine is if it's in the editor. My guess is not (yet), since the order that they appear isn't right next to the normal ones.
But that is a wild ass guess on my part and i don't mind being wrong on this one either

usually an image rotator. i have an unused one
here if you keep refreshing, the random image will be displayed
source
here , if you want to try your own
one key is to get the url to pan out in the ubbt world and be treated as an image. ubbcode parser usually flags it and you don't get your image.
if you refresh my post it will change the image. just do a quick quote and you'll see the img code used.

Rose,
here's where I got mine from. There's two methods detailed if the first one doesn't work from your webhost not allowing it. You might also need to log into threadsdev.com if you can't see or download the attachments in that topic.
The funny thing about this thing is that vB can tell when a php script is pretending to be a .gif and it tells you it doesn't like it.

FYI, theres a topic on this in the FAQ forum; which covers when "the public" sees a beta (if it's even a beta when you see it)

"the big one being the built in Photo Gallery"
It would be nice to have a link to the Photo Gallery in the BreadCrumb

it's something you can hack in; the gallery is just a forum, just like any other, only it uses the photo uploader options... As such, you can make a forum for any type pof gallery; theres no real way to shove it in the breadcrumb as it can be any forum, or forums...

I don't know if this is a big deal but the green line doesn't extend all the way in the photo album. I've attached a pic with a red pin marking the location to explain.

I do like the new registration method.
Rules / then reg screen
works for me
if Registration - Age Verification is enabled is it then a 3 page registration?
When does it show its self?
1. Rules
2. Age Verification
3. Registration Screen
So i can tweak the wording in my Forum Rules.

Post Gallery does not appear to allow PREVIEW of the image(s) you uploaded as part of the post. I think the images should be previewed as well (IMHO)

You'll be able to upgrade directly from 7.1 to 7.2.

Too be honest, I don't find upgrading that straight forward. I get confused with what order to do things in and what files to upload and when.
I find having
the upgrade doc to hand helps a little and there's also
the upgrade thread to refer to if needs be.

Just an FYI. We plan on having beta 4 being a public beta. Probably will be in the members area the first part of next week.
