I'll help: How's the weather, Ian? What are going to Durham for? How did the barbie go? Are you feeling better? What did you have for breakfast? When are you going to upgrade to 7.2? Are you going to use Mark's (shake a leg) avatar? What's the weather like now? There you go .. eight questions.

I dont use the shout box as IE hangs Same here, and Preview Post is intermittent too. Also I get (I think it's) a 406 error when I use the CP and have to restart IE. I only view this/my forum with Firefox now. well it used too and never got around to turning the right coloum on again lol I started viewing the right column when the "Latest Photos" appeared on the left. I suddenly thought, with the forum updates, I might miss something else if it appeares on the right.

...and Preview Post is intermittent too. That's interesting, when I'm using IE at the office, I get the same problem. I didn't mention it as I thought it was a local issue. I always often have to ^A^C and then open a new page to ^V my previewed text.

Its actually an IE and Ajax issue, so while IE = v7.0 were screwed.
I turned it off on my forums as members think its our server locking and the software, and don't understand that its IE.

Even Firefox gets screwed up at times. F5 fixed it, but here is the initial view before a refresh.

I think if you guys are bored, you should go write some UBB mods. UBBDev is painfully quiet. Psh, I wrote the Frappr addon as well as updated the sitemap addon this week lol...

My site went awfully quiet a while ago ... so much so I started to panic, but I couldn't think why. But within a couple of weeks it was right up there again - I think there are natural cycles. Mine too, but for out of the ordinary circumstances lol...

It's a never ending loop. New version - more stuff, more bugs to iron out. My hat's off to you Rick - man amongst men! Been going that way since somewhere in '97. So about 10 years and still enjoy working on it It's pretty amazing actually, 10 years of development and there is still sooooo much to be done

what's wrong with Graemlins Nothing if you stick with the defaults and don't add any. If you have a forum like mine where people LOVE using a lot of graemlins, the menu is VERY messy and doesn't work well with some browser versions. I even tried "fixing" it myself, but I'm no developer. It was WAY too difficult for me to figure out. I wanted to make it so that when the graemlins button was clicked, a menu like the "moods" one comes up. Ideally, the graemlins mod for 6.5 was great.

there is a mod over there now, that at least allows for more horizontal space for lotsa graemlins, but i'm assuming you have differing sizes and you'd also like to have full control over ordering and lining them up?

Exactly, SD. A table sort of thing. I do have that mod, and it helps a little bit, plus a couple of little changes I made myself - but still awfully messy.
