Has anyone seen this problem?
I have a user that nobody can send PMs to. I've checked her preferences, and she's allowing PMs.
When anyone tries to send her a PM, when clicking on Submit, the message just stays there, and the browser shows "Error on Page" down in the status bar.

Does the users name have any "non-latin" characters in it? I've run into this issue with users using ASCII in their names.

Yes, most likely that is the problem; I believe this is fixed in 7.2
