I just successfully installed ver 7.1.1 and imported from 6.5.4
Everything went very smoothly, thankfully!
The only problem I have is that after changing the URL in the redirect scripts and uploading them to the old (6.5.4) directory, nothing happens when I go to the old forum: no redirect to the new directory. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Did you update the redirector scripts? They require the url to your ubb7 install.

Do they give any error, or just a blank screen when you pass data through them?
Could you provide a URL to the redirect scripts?

"no input file specified" is a 404 error message generataed when PHP is loaded as a CGI; a 404 error means that a requested file doesn't exist ( source). I'm not sure why you'd be getting a "not found" error though... You also get the same error when going to: http://www.dancesafe.org/booth/ubbthreads.php/ubb/cfrm

So.. the importer worked fine after I fixed the DB issues. It said I ran through with no problems whatsoever...
The importer scripts are accurate, and I have even re-uploaded them and double checked the settings to make sure they are working...
I am now confused.
Although.. looking at this sites redirect... I notice that where mine says /Number/198346/site_id/1#import the one here says /Number/189007#Post189007 ... Wondering if for some reason mine contains something extra?

Does your site support search engine friendly URLs? I'd try turning that off in the redirects and see if that works.

While laying in bed last night I was thinking about that... Try disabling SE friendly URLs in both the redirects (there should be a configuration line for friendly urls there) and then within the board itself.
It would definately explain the not found error, as technically no directory named ubbthreads.php exists, and it'd seem your webspace isn't configured to allow the path_info variable to be populated.
