When adding an image in a gallery why have the image manager as a popup?

since adding images is really the central point of an image gallery, I think the form should be shown directly without having to open a pop-up. It would be more intuitive.

I think its about right?

1 = Thumb
2 = All in screen view
3 = Popup (Which idiot posted it that big)

My thoughts.

all in the same view keeping the current AJAX functionality would look good IMHO
